My husband and I have bought/sold 8 homes combined and we have never had real estate agents as responsive and hardworking as Kara & Jon Keller. We recently sold our home of 20 years, the home in which we raised our family. Kara handled most of the day-to-day and Jon was our numbers guy. Jon analyzed the market, answered all of our questions and helped us come to a listing price that was not pulled out of thin air. It made sense in the context of the market and how our home fit into what buyers were looking for. Really smart. Kara ia a supreme strategist, marketer, and home stager. When we would challenge a suggestion, Kara was always the voice of reason - sharing her rationale and always leaving the final decision up to us. I have never seen a real estate agent work so hard. She’d select items for staging, get our approval and then take care of procuring them, spending an inordinate amount of time at Menard’s and Target! She always kept costs in mind and when, on one occasion, I asked if she could find something less expensive, she did so without question. Right before the house was ready, I noticed Kara was sitting underneath our glass kitchen dining table with a black furniture marker in her hand. She had taken it upon herself to clean up a few nicks on the table base making it look new in the process. Kara has a great eye for staging. (I think she has an art degree of some kind.) Last, but not least, Kara and Jon put together a whole strategy for marketing our home taking us from pitching our business to closing the sale of our home in less than two months. To give you an idea of how Kara thinks, I asked her why she was holding a second open house in our first weekend on the market when we already had two offers in hand and a million showings in a very short period of time. Kara said, “Your house is going to sell fast and agents only have so much band width. By holding one more open house, it gives buyers a chance to see the house a second or third time even if their agent isn’t available.” Simply brilliant.
